SHE'S BAD...

Image
She ain't good for me and I know it, No I know that she ain't really no good, But everything she does she does it perfect, Baby you remind me of soul food. So good to me, but so bad for me, Pretty little devil in a red dress, Up and down, she making me dizzy, But I can use her body for a head rest, She's got curves, she's got curves, Better slow down before you crash, Oh my word, oh my word, Never seen it done like that. Hold up baby, what you doing? No don't stop, keep on moving, Keep on going, keep on grooving, Treble on point, bass is booming Love making music, playing on the stereo, We gonna get in to these slow jams, Jodeci singing in our ears too, Hoping I can make it to the song ends, And we've been drinking wine all night, Netflix and chill, on the couch watching Love Jones, And just like a thief in the night, Blues in your left thigh, your right got the funk. Damn we both drunk, so let me drink you in,...

CAN WE TALK?

Image
So I was at the bar the other night with a friend, and we started chatting to some girls. After about ten minutes I realized I had nothing left to say. Now this may be a normal thing for some, but not for me. I mean I have game, loads of game. But it's become increasingly obvious to me what the problem is....I don't really have TALK game any more. In this virtual world of die hard social media, I have developed a spectacular text and instant message repertoire. I can't remember the last conversation I have had with a woman on the phone after meeting her in person. From there it's usually straight to text until I see her again. And it got me thinking, what happen to the art of conversation? A buddy of mine texts me all the time. "I'm getting mad text responses from girls". And I'm at home thinking, if text responses was pussy you'd be Wilt Chamberlain. We're a lazy ass society man, it's the whole "Netflix and Chill", gen...

9 OUT OF 10

Image
Had a conversation with a friend, she said that nine out of ten, Of the relationships and situationships that couples are in, Aren't even with the people that they want to be with, I had to think for a minute, cause that's some serious sh*t. Cause this is a chick that I got love for and she knows it, Ironically, my heart unavailable for her to go with. She waiting on me to respond but it was such a heavy text, That I had to take the proper time to put it into context. Because the first person you love is often the first person you lose, An immature love, when you were young and confused. And you gave your heart away before you really knew how it worked, Giving up all your love before you even understood all it's worth. So when you got your second chance, to tango with romance, You felt like you had the rhythm, you more prepared to do the dance. But you had a dream, the desire for bigger things, And you tried to take her with you but she don't fit into ...

SEVEN DAYS...

Image
On Friday she was my baby, On Saturday she was like maybe, On Sunday we ain't even speak, On Monday everything crazy. Is it just me? Is it just me? I mean is it just me? But relationships die fast these days, Fall out of love faster than I can blink, Fall out of love before I finish this drink, Fall out of love before we even n'sync, Fall out of love faster than I can I think, Think of words needed to speak To remind you of what we could be. What it could it be? What did you see? Did something change? Did I skip I beat? Did I miss a post? Did I miss a tweet? I think we're a product of our generation, We want our love on Netflix simulation, Give me all your love right now, Binge loving there's no patience. Then it's on to next, What else is out, tell me what's next? I Tivo'd our relationship, so I can skip through all the mess. There's plenty of fish, But the sea is rotten, Forget to log in and your forgotten. So you bounce ...
